Govt. of Manipur is running 2(two) Specials Schools one for Visual Impaired and one for Hearing Impaired with hostel facilities. Besides these two Govt. schools, NGOS have established other Special Schools for Mentally Retarded, Hearing Impaired, Leprosy patients and weaker section in Manipur with grant from Govt. of Manipur
